DIRECTED DONATION FUNDS

A donation can be made and directed to any of the following Specialty Funds

1) General Operation Fund : donations are used for the annual operating costs of Scouting programs in Hamilton-Wentworth Area

2) Scouting for Kids at Risk Fund : Donations are directed towards supporting the youth in our community who, due to economic reasons, can not afford the membership fee, uniforms or camp fees.

3) New Group Development Fund : Donations received are available for the development of new groups and sections.

4) Camp Operating Fund : Donations received are directed towards the annual operating expenses of Mount Nemo Scout Camp and Ragged Falls Canoe Base.

5) The Hendrie Trust for Camp Development Fund : For the development of new capital projects at Mount Nemo Scout Camp and Ragged Falls Canoe Base

6) Gordon Peace Brotherhood Fund : Established by Gord Peace, former leader with the 81 st Hamilton Group, through a Hamilton Mountain Rotary Club. Donations are used to support projects conducive to the development of World Brotherhood, such as assisting members attending world events or assisting members from other countries attending events in Canada.

7) Ron G. Rice International Jamboree Fund : Established by Ron Rice, former Scoutmaster with the 31 st Hamilton Group. Donations received are used to assist members attending World Jamborees.

8) Jack Atkinson Canadian Jamboree Fund : Establish to recognize the services of Jack Atkinson, former Executive Director for Hamilton District. Donations received are used to assist members attending Canadian Jamborees.
