Gordon Williams Lodge - HICOP at Gordon Williams

Gordon Williams (Panabode "B") is a two story building situated at the top of a hill. The lower level consists of the kitchen and dining/meeting room. The upper level consisted of two sleeping areas.

During the summer and the early fall of 2011 with a grant from the Keg Steakhouse, Gordon Williams Lodge has been converted into The New HICOP (Hencher Interpretive Center for Outdoor Programming) at Gordon Williams . It replaced the original HICOP at Hencher Den with a Grand Opening held Saturday October 22nd 2011.

HICOP at Gordon Williams is a combination of nature, visitor and program centre located a short walk from the main Camp Nemo parking lot. The Centre is staffed, on weekends, with trained youth and adult interpreters. It is filled with displays and activities centered on nature and environmental themes and it is a good source for maps and other camp information. It will also have activities such as guided interpretive hikes, bird box monitoring, environment monitoring, challenges and games. There will be something happening in the centre every weekend and activities such as full moon night hikes during the week. We can also, with advanced notice, do evening meetings during the week.
