In 2009, Hencher Den was converted from limited access sleeping quarters, into a world class Nature Interpretive Centre, code-named HICOP. (Hencher Interpretive Centre for Outdoor Program). 

On Saturday October 22nd 2011, HICOP moved into the renovated Gordon Williams Lodge.

Hencher Den will be reconverted into a sleeping quarters during the late fall 2011 and early winter of 2012.
