Hencher Den has been converted from limited access sleeping quarters, into a world class Nature Interpretive Centre, now code-named HICOP. (Hencher Interpretive Centre for Outdoor Program)

The HICOP is a combination of nature, visitor and program centre tucked in one of the valleys of Camp Nemo, just across from Fleur de Lis hill. The Centre is staffed, on weekends, with trained youth and adult interpreters. It is filled with displays and activities centered on nature and environmental themes and it is a good source for maps and other camp information. It will also have activities such as guided interpretive hikes, bird box monitoring, environment monitoring, challenges and games. There will be something happening in the centre every weekend and activities such as full moon night hikes during the week. We can also, with advanced notice, do evening meetings during the week.

No appointment is necessary to drop in for a visit with or without youth.
