“Our entire microwave popcorn lines are nut-free; they are packaged in a separate facility and on separate equipment from our caramel corn with nuts and trail mix. The production lines that run any peanuts or tree nuts are separate, distinct, and not located in the same facility as our microwave lines. There is no co-mingling of the production lines. Our Caramel Corn Light and our Chocolate Caramel Crunch are our only two caramel corn items that do not contain peanut or tree nuts. They are however, produced in the same facility as all of our other caramel corn products containing nuts. We are voluntarily audited by the AIB (American Institute of Baking, www.aibonline.org) and we enforce a strict internal policy that includes guidelines that must be followed in order to prevent cross-contamination.”
